GCSE Results day at BCCSNearly three-quarters of students at Bristol Cathedral Choir School achieved A*–C grades at A-level in 2010. Results improved by 1.5 points on last year with 45.2% of pupils achieving A*-B, compared to just under 44% in 2009.

Five students achieved three or more A* or A grades and 99% of all A-levels taken at the School were passed at A* to E. There were particularly good results in Mathematics, with eight of the 17 students who took the A-level gaining either an A* or A grade.

In 2010, four-fifths (80%) of our students gained at least five GCSEs at grades A*-C, or 75% including Mathematics and English - the Government's main benchmark statistic. There were particularly strong performances in English and Art, as well as in the School's primary specialism of Music. Six students achieved seven or more A* and A grades.
