In Geography at BCCS, we encourage students to find out about the world in which they live. A wide variety of topics are studied both at a local and a global scale. Students’ enthusiasm for the subject is enriched by fieldwork which is undertaken in every year group. ICT is employed throughout the teaching of the subject; students are regularly encouraged to use the internet for investigating contemporary geographical issues. A wide range of teaching methods are used to make the lessons stimulating, the delicate balance between the human and physical environment underpinning every topic.
