Thursday 17th & Thursday 24th September 2026	Open events for prospective Year 7 2027 students Both events are now fully booked, and our booking system is closed. Please complete this form to be added to our waiting list.
Friday 25th September 2026 at 9am	Closing date for music specialism applications. More information and the sign up form can be found here.
By 5pm on Friday 25th September 2026	Music Aptitude invitations will be sent via email. Children applying to both BCCS and Trinity Academy will sit the music aptitude test at Trinity Academy this year.
Saturday 26th September 2026	Music aptitude test takes place at Trinity Academy, Romney Avenue, Bristol, BS7 9BY.
Dates & Times TBC	2nd Music Aptitude Test by invitation only.
Friday 30th October 2026	Closing date for secondary transfer applications.
Monday 1st March 2027	Offers will be sent to parents/carers by the home local authority.
W/C: Date TBC	Appeals will be heard by an Independent Appeal Panel administered by Democratic Services at Bristol City Council on behalf of the school.
Dates TBC	Transition days for Year 6 students.
September 2027	Start of term for Year 7 students only.
