The Sixth Form is a vibrant and diverse community, comprising students coming from over 40 schools across the locality. We welcome all applications and recognise how big a decision this is for young people. Thank you for considering BCCS. Please read through the admission arrangements and follow the guidance below to support your transition; we will support the process by offering clear and honest advice as to a young person’s best options for their post-16 education.

GCSE results day / Enrolment

As soon as GCSE results are known students should confirm their intention to take up a place via the online admissions & enrolment portal and upload evidence of their results. Details will be updated as the year progresses.

Where BCCS is oversubscribed all applications will be considered in line with the published admission arrangements and no place can be guaranteed.

To enrol, please login to your application from 8am on Results Day.

Admission Arrangements 2026/27 

Entry Requirements 

  • To be eligible to enter the sixth form, both internal and external students will be expected to have met the minimum academic entry requirement at GCSE which is at least five grades at 6, 6, 5, 5, 5 and a 4 in English Language or Literature.
