Welcome to the BCCS Parent Teacher Association

BCCS PTA (Registered Charity Number 1107564) consists of a friendly group and we’re always keen to welcome new members – to join the committee or to lend a hand at events. We run the bar at school concerts and the second-hand uniform shop, as well as holding cake sales, plant sales and raffles. The money we raise goes to supporting the school and our children’s education.

The PTA are selling second-hand uniform. To request a particular item, please complete and submit this form: Second-hand uniform request form. Normally we reply within a week to let you know if the item is available.

What’s been funded

The PTA have given funds to support a wide range of equipment and activities at BCCS. We aim to give priority to bids from staff at the school that will have a long-lasting impact and benefit the widest range of students.

A list of bids received in 2024/2025 is available here.

This year we are funding requests from the school as a whole as well as specific requests for:

• Art - visualisers and drawing tablets for the creation of digital artwork
• Design and Technology - Digital cameras to take images for submission to online portfolios
• "Seed funding" for a library of politics textbooks
• Assistance with funding trips for bursary students

We will publish a complete list of bids we are funding and the amounts spent once these are final.

What's happening

The PTA have had a hugely successful 2025, with a brilliant Christmas Raffle and a record-breaking amount raised at the Christmas Concert.
