All students at BCCS have the right to learn. Our ready to learn system is designed to build on the culture that already exists within the school of achievement, drive and ambition and ensure that all students are able to learn without disruption. 

Our ten rules ensure that our school remains a focused and respectful place of learning.

• 1. We show good manners and treat others with kindness and respect.
• 2. We follow instructions from all staff straight away.
• 3. We take care of our school environment, keeping it clean and tidy.
• 4. We arrive on time to school and lessons.
• 5. We try our hardest on all classwork and homework.
• 6. We bring the correct equipment for learning.
• 7. We have the correct uniform and wear it smartly.
• 8. We keep mobile phones and other devices off and in our bags at all times.
• 9. We stay in the permitted areas of the school.
• 10. We never bring prohibited items to school.
